1 John 1:1, “We write to you about the Word of life, which has existed from the very beginning. We have heard it, and we have seen it with our eyes; yes, we have seen it, and our hands have touched it.” Jesus is the divine-human Word our souls need for survival and strength and growth. He is the Word of Life. This Word existed from the beginning. It is the revelation of God. Through the Word we come to know God. And knowing Him, if we believe in Him, we can not only be saved, we can also have fellowship with Him.
