This is a replay of an episode first broadcast in August 2021.
Who is Theophilus? This is unclear in the Scriptures. However, he is the person to whom the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles are addressed. These books are written by the evangelist, physician, and companion of the apostle Paul, Luke to convey to the reader the value of the historical authenticity of the good news about Christ. God places people like in Theophilus in the lives of Christian believers, so that we can be conduits for the sharing of life-saving truth. Scriptures referenced include Luke 1:1-4; Colossians 4:11, 14; Philemon 1:24; Acts 16:6-11, 19; Acts 17:1; Acts 20:5; 2 Timothy 4:11; and Acts 27.
