There is much that we can learn from the remarkable life of David, the shepherd boy who becomes Israel’s most celebrated king. We explore three of lessons from his life before he becomes king: (1) A heart for God prepares us to be used by God; (2) The Spirit of God equips us to do the will of God; and (3) It's better to fear God than to be nine feet tall.
