In Jeremiah 29:13 we read, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” And this was true for a group of Zoroastrian priest-astrologers from the East, whom we have come to call the “Wise Men” or the “Three Kings.” They saw a star in the sky and their reading of prophecy convinced them that this star indicated that a great king had been born. They traveled for months and for hundreds of miles to find this king so that they could worship him. How hard are we searching for Jesus this Christmas?
