We continue our reflection on the importance of letting go as we move into a new year. God promises, through the prophet Isaiah, that He is “doing a new thing” on our behalf. However, in order for us to experience this we have to forget “the former things.” We need to relinquish our hold on “the things of old.” Scriptures referenced include Isaiah 43:16-21; Isaiah 65:16-17; Exodus 14:21; Revelation 21:5; and Acts 17:11.
