Sin entered the world through one man. And his act of disobedience cost humanity far more than this man could have ever imagined. To restore the broken relationship between humanity and God that was caused by sin, blood had to be shed -- first the blood of animals in a sacrificial system and then the blood of our Saviour, Jesus.
