Peter describes Christians as “a peculiar people” in 1 Peter 2:9. The apostle Paul also talks about Christians being peculiar. He does so in a letter to Titus, an early church leader and a trusted companion of his. Why ought we to be peculiar in our words, thoughts, and actions? We have been saved and redeemed by a great God and we look forward to the Second Coming of He who rescued us from eternal condemnation.
