Jesus has called each of us as believers to teach others as we fulfill the Great Commission. How should we go about teaching? Perhaps we ought to look to Jesus himself and the methods he used. Jesus was the greatest teacher ever to walk the earth, and besides being called “Master,” and “Lord,” He was often referred to as “Rabbi” which means “Teacher.” Thousands would gather to hang on his every word. People traveled far and wide just to hear him. The lessons he taught spread like fire and literally changed the world. If we understand the various teaching methods that Jesus used throughout His time on the earth, we might become more effective in our own ministry.
