Racism and prejudice are not new; they are as old as humanity itself. People have always found reasons to divide, exclude, and mistreat one another based on race, culture, class, or tribe. In this episode of 10:10 Thrive, we explore how Jesus consistently confronted prejudice and revealed that His kingdom is radically inclusive. From His conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well to His parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus crossed every barrier to show that love has no borders.
We’ll see how Jesus dismantled social hierarchies and purity laws by dining with tax collectors, touching lepers, and praising the faith of outsiders. His life was a living rebuke of favoritism and exclusion. Most of all, we’ll reflect on how His Great Commission calls us into a global vision—a kingdom made up of every nation, tribe, people, and language, where diversity is not a problem but a reflection of God’s beautiful design. Prejudice dies at the foot of the cross, where Jesus unites us as one family.
In our “Get Deep” section, we’ll discover what this teaches us about Jesus Himself: His radical love, His mission of reconciliation, His confrontation of pride and fear, and His vision of justice paired with mercy. Finally, we’ll ask what it means for us today: to examine our hearts, to expand our circles, to stand against injustice, and to live as ambassadors of reconciliation in a divided world.
